SEATTLE (AP) — The Coast Guard reports that it rescued three Washington state men from a sinking fishing boat after the vessel hit a jetty at the exit to Grays Harbor.
Coast Guard petty officer Shawn Eggert says a 47-foot motor lifeboat crew from Station Grays Harbor was dispatched to the 69-foot fishing vessel Haeshin after receiving a distress call at 7 on Monday night.
Eggert identifies the men as Gary D. Cortner, of Tacoma; Beunthoeun B. Toun, of Seattle, and James timothy Maupin, of Westport.
