Cloudy but warmer for Thursday – Kris
School is out for many area kids on Friday, but it sure doesn’t feel like summer vacation! Temperatures continue to run below average; however, we have a mini-warming trend in the forecast to end the week. For Thursday, expect temperatures to top out in the lower 70s. It’s not going to be a bright, sunny day as clouds stream into the area from the south.
It will be even warmer on Friday as highs climb into the mid-70s! That’s when the trend toward more summery conditions ends. Cooler, showery weather is on the way for Father’s Day weekend. Summer officially starts on Tuesday. The Summer Solstice is at 2:23 a.m. PDT on the 21st. However, it’s still going to feel like spring, with temperatures in the lower to mid-70s.
