Chet Holmgren drafted #2 overall by the Oklahoma City Thunder

BROOKLYN, N.Y. — Chet Holmgren becomes the highest drafted draft pick in Gonzaga history going 2nd overall to the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Many thought Holmgren could go number one overall, but the Orlando Magic passed on reuniting Holmgren with Jalen Suggs by taking Paolo Banchero first.

Spokane’s own Adam Morrison was the highest draft pick in Gonzaga history going number three to Charlotte before Holmgren’s draft pick.
