Cheney teen found safe

CHENEY, Wash. — Jackie Doucette was found safe Sunday morning.
The 15-year-old was found walking up to her house in Cheney at around 8:30 a.m. holding a cat.
Jackie’s mother, Liz Doucette, said that she could offer no further details other than “Jackie is safe and with the authorities.”
Cheney Police Sergeant Rick Beghtol told KXLY 4 that the police are now interviewing Jackie.
According to the F.B.I., Jackie appears to be in good health, but is receiving a thorough medical examination.
Jackie disappeared Thanksgiving night when she went outside to look for her family’s two cats, but never came back. Cheney Police officers have been investigating Jackie’s disappearance since that night. A Spokane County Sheriff’s Office Search and Rescue team joined the search on Saturday.
