Charges expected to be dropped against downtown Spokane shooting suspect

SPOKANE, Wash. — Detectives are asking prosecutors to drop the charges against a 19 year old suspected of shooting two men at a Spokane apartment complex on Tuesday.
After interviewing one of the men shot, detectives received new information that police say prompted them to ask for the charges against Trey Galloway to be dropped.
According to court records, Spokane Police officers quickly responded to the shooting at an apartment near Sacred Heart on Tuesday night. They found two men, ages 19 and 20, with multiple gunshot wounds.
Galloway was arrested hours later in North Idaho.

Police said they are still investigating, but said Galloway was being released from jail on Friday.
In a release, Spokane Police said other charges could be filed at a later date.
The condition of the victims is still unknown.
