Central Valley HS student passes away from injuries sustained in I-90 crash

SEATTLE, Wash. — A Central Valley High School student has passed away from injuries he sustained in a crash on I-90 near Post Falls.
Adam England was placed on life support and ultimately transferred to Harborview Medical Center to receive care after he was struck by a car.
Idaho State Police said England was driving through the Post Falls area during a heavy snowfall and lost control of his vehicle. He was standing outside of his car when a Jeep struck it. He was then struck and thrown off the road.
His family released a statement honoring England on Monday:
“Adam England was a 16 year old junior at CVHS who loved adventures with his family, his faith and swimming. He died with his family holding his hands at Harborview Medical today at 3:48 am. His family wishes to thank all those who have shared love, prayers and support though this past week. He is survived by his parents Ron and Cindy, his brother Bryce and his wife Rachael and his sister Kelli. He was loved by his large swimming community of friends and members of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.”
A GoFundMe page set up to assist England’s family described him as a talented swimmer, incredible teammate and loved friend.
