Buy, sell and swap your bike at the Spokane Bike Swap & Expo this Saturday
SPOKANE, Wash. — Retail bikes have been selling fast during the pandemic.
But this year, the Spokane Bike Swap & Expo is back — you can buy, sell and swap with other bike enthusiasts.
It’s happening this Saturday, June 12 from 10am – 4pm at the Spokane County Fair and Expo Center.
New this year and to help keep exhibitors, volunteers and attendees safe due to the pandemic, the exhibitors will be located outside.
You can peruse through the exhibitor spaces and go inside to check out the bike corral where hundreds of bikes will be available to purchase.
All current CDC guidelines due to the pandemic will be followed for this event.
If you’re interested in selling a bike, you can register it online. After that, bike check-in is on Friday, June 11 from 3pm – 7pm.
Bike registration is $5 and will be waived if you donate a bike.
Kids’ bikes are needed too! The registration fee is waived on kid’s bikes with 20″ rims or smaller and priced $50 or less.
For all bikes that sell, a 10% consignment fee will be assessed.
Spokane Bike Swap Chair LeAnn Yamamoto says if you are interest in selling your bike, this is the place to do it.
Thousands of people interested in biking will be at this event checking out all the deals.
“We are thrilled to announce the Spokane Bike Swap is now a non-profit organization,” said Yamamoto. “The proceeds from the event will benefit regional charitable organizations and we are excited about the positive impacts it will have on the community while promoting healthy and active living for all.”
