Bus driver cited in UW Apple Cup rollover crash

The driver of the charter bus carrying University of Washington band members that crashed on its way to the Apple Cup has been cited with driving too fast for road conditions.

According to Washington State Patrol, Nancy Aguilar, 36, was driving the 2007 MTR Charter Bus when she lost control of the bus and it rolled onto its passenger side seven miles west of George on Thanksgiving night.

The bus was carrying 52 passengers from the University of Washington marching band.

Aguilar and 39 other passengers were taken to the hospital. No one was seriously injured.

Aguilar has been cited for driving too fast for conditions.
