Fairchild Air Force Base bomb squad gives ‘all clear’ after suspicious package found

AIRWAY HEIGHTS, Wash. — Officials at Fairchild Air Force Base said their bomb squad responded to a report of a suspicious package Thursday morning.

Shortly after their initial warning, the bomb squad issued an “all clear” message.

Authorities did not say what was found, but said the suspicious package was reported near the Rambo Road Gate.
