KOOTENAI COUNTY, Idaho — The Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office reported a body was found east of the Cataldo boat launch Saturday during a search and rescue effort on the Coeur d’Alene River. Kootenai County is now working to identify the body.

The Shoshone County Sheriff’s Office said the body is not believed to be related to search efforts from Friday’s report of a floating body in the river. But, authorities still haven’t released information revealing who the person found Saturday is.
