Ben Leighton is the weekend Internet Content Editor for KXLY.com and has been a part of the KXLY 4 News team since 2006.Ben – or “Intern Ben” as he’s known around the newsroom – grew up in Tacoma and came to Spokane in 2003 to attend Whitworth University, graduating in 2007 with degrees in Journalism and History. During his four years at Whitworth, he was a DJ at the school’s radio station KWRS and also served as the General Manager of the station for two years.He started out at KXLY 4 News as an intern in 2006 before taking on the weekend Internet Content Editor position.
