Bee causes rollover accident on Idaho Highway 7

OROFINO, Idaho — An Orofino man is fortunate to walk away uninjured after he rolled his car Wednesday morning on Idaho Highway 7 because of distracted driving, according to Mia Carlson of Lewis-Clark Valley News.
The distraction? A bee.
The driver, 29-year-old Sham Sandy, told authorities he was traveling northbound on the road near milepost 51 when a bee landed on his hand.
“[He] said that he was trying to get it off of him when he left the road and then struck a boulder and rolled,” a press release states.
Sandy was issued a citation for inattentive driving.
