The Idaho Panhandle Avalanche Center has issued an Avalanche
Warning indicating HIGH avalanche hazard for the entire forecast
region, which includes Bonner, Boundary and Shoshone counties.
This warning does not apply to local ski areas within the
forecast region.

This warning is valid for today, Friday, Dec 29 will remain in
effect through Saturday night at midnight.

For specific information on avalanche activity and expected
trends in stability…contributing weather factors…and mountain
travel recommendations please refer to the Idaho Panhandle
