Authorities remove Molotov cocktail from impounded Audi

Authorities are removing a Molotov cocktail found in a vehicle impounded by Inland Towing earlier this week.

The vehicle, a 2010 Audi TT with Oregon plates, was towed three days ago. The contents of the car were being inventoried when the device was found.

The Molotov cocktail is described as being a wine bottle with a rag sticking out of it and some sort of chemical inside.

The owner of the car is currently in jail; the owner of a repossession company that had Inland Towing pick up the Audi said the owner was caught shoplifting, assaulted a security guard and was allegedly arrested on robbery and assault charges.
