Arrest made from Stevens County home invasion robbery

One arrest has been made in the home invasion robbery that took place near McKenzie Woolard Rd. in Stevens County on Monday, Feb. 12.

Jordan Bastasin, 30, was arrested and taken into custody Thursday during the service of search warrant at an apartment on E. Riverton in Spokane. A felony warrant has been issued for the robbery and Bastasin was the target of the warrant obtained by Stevens County detectives.

Members from the Stevens County Sheriff’s Office, US Marshal’s Violent Offender Task Force, Spokane Police Department, and Chewelah Police Department K9 team were on hand for the warrant. Bastasin was resistive during the arrest. He was treated at a local hospital for dog bites before he was transported and booked into the Stevens County jail.

The Sheriff’s Office is still seeking the public’s help in identifying unknown male and female suspects that participated in the robbery. Anyone with information on the suspects is asked to call Stevens County dispatch at (509) 684-5296.
