Armed robbery in west Spokane
Two armed men robbed a convenience store in Spokane’s Browne’s Addition Thursday night.
Spokane police said the two men walked into Sunset Grocery located at 1908 W. Sunset Ave. and demanded cash at about 10:00 p.m.
The suspects were last scene leaving the store on foot but police believe the two jumped in a car to escape.
A police K-9 unit was brought to the scene to try and track the suspects but it was able to catch the scent.
The amount of cash the suspects escaped with was not disclosed.
