Armed Man Tries To Rob North Spokane HoJo
Spokane Police are on the lookout for the man who tried to rob the Howard Johnson in North Spokane Wednesday night.
Around 9:50 pm Spokane Police responded to the Howard Johnson on Division Street.
Officers said that a man armed with a black handgun entered the lobby and demanded cash from an employee. The employee said she didn’t have any money and the robber walked out of the hotel without getting any money.
Police tried to use a K-9 unit to track down the man, but didn’t have any success. Officers briefly detained a man at the scene, and later determined he had no connection to the crime.
Police say the robbery suspect was dressed head-to-toe in dark clothing with only his eyes showing. He is approximately 5’5″ with a thin to medium build.
