Arlington woman accused of setting ex-husband’s home on fire
ARLINGTON, Wash. — An Arlington woman has been accused of setting her ex-husband’s apartment on fire after an argument.
KCPQ-TV reports that the 53-year-old woman is being held on $500,000 bail in connection to the fire on Monday.
Police say the woman spent Monday night arguing with her ex-husband before intentionally setting fire to his apartment. The subsequent blaze gutted the 115-year-old building.
Damages to the historic building were estimated by the city of Arlington to reach nearly $500,000. No one was hurt in the fire.
The woman is facing charges of arson and domestic violence.
