Here is your local weather forecast for March 4, 2020.
Good morning and happy Wednesday! Your weather forecast is looking mostly sunny, but gusty. Be ready for the breeze!
Today’s conditions will be dry. A little more cloud cover around the region this morning, but most of it should burn off by the afternoon and we’ll get some sunshine.
Be very mindful of winds today. Winds speeds in Spokane will come in at around 15-25 mph from the southwest. Gusts are even stronger, up to 45 mph possible. Towards our local mountains, snow showers are possible along with up to 50 mph wind gusts.
Tonight should be calmer for winds, blowing at about 5-10 mph from the southeast. Still dry tonight. Skies will be mostly clear.
Overall, cloud cover will come and go throughout our Wednesday. The bulk of snow showers will be towards mountains in western Washington.
Temperatures are going to be cooler than yesterday. However, these are all still slightly above average. Keep in mind, because of wind chill, the “feels like” temperatures are going to be much cooler. Bundle up and wear layers! Give yourself the opportunity to peel as you go today.
Don’t forget! We are Springing Forward this weekend.
Potential for wet weather begins Friday into Saturday. Rain showers are possible for Friday. Saturday, we may see a rain/snow mix throughout the region.
Make it a great Wednesday! -Nikki
