Arc of Spokane Thrift hosting cooling station

SPOKANE, Wash. — Temperatures are rising in Spokane and some people are having trouble cooling off in the heat, but starting Friday, the Arc of Spokane Thrift store will be hosting a cooling station in their parking lot.
There will be water, ice, wet towels and misting station, and everyone is welcome.
Director of Development, Kelsey Bumgarner said they are partnering with Mutual Aid Survival Squad (MASS), who will be running the stand. She added that those who are interested in volunteering to help run the stand can contact them on Instagram at @mutualaidsurvivalsquad.
The thrift store opens at 9 a.m.
