Another Round Of Blue Skies, Sunshine
SPOKANE — The sunny, seasonable weather that took us through the weekend continues Monday and should be prevalent throughout the work week.
Blue skies, sunshine and a calm breeze are in the Inland Northwest forecast Monday, with temperatures in the high 70s creeping towards 80 by the afternoon. That’s the warmest it’s expected to be for the week.
Though temperatures are likely to gradually decline as the week wears on, there’s still plenty of sunshine in the forecast, with highs consistent in the mid-to-upper 70s. A little cloud cover will roll into the area starting Thursday – bringing a chance of thunderstorms and showers Thursday and Friday night – but no other precipitation is called for through the work week.
From Monday through Wednesday, the only element that could disrupt the nearly perfect conditions is the wind. A calm breeze is expected Monday and Wednesday, but gusts as high as 20 mph or more are forecasted for Tuesday.
