Amputee children from around the world get new limbs thanks to U.S. charity

Elissa Montanti runs the Global Medical Relief Fund, which helps severely injured children from countries all over the world. Many of them have lost limbs due to war, natural disaster or insufficient medical care. While awaiting care, the children stay at the Dare To Dream House on Staten Island, New York. The organization has helped more than 200 children from 44 countries in the 20 years since it was founded.
