The family involved in an AMBER Alert out of Seattle Tuesday evening was found in Cheney.

All four children were safe. The parents were detained but have since been released.

Authorities who sent the alert said the children were suspected to be with their parents in an RV headed to either Orcas Island, Tennessee, or Ohio.

According to the alert, both the mother and father have a history of psychiatric problems and the mother has a history of substance abuse. There is a history of domestic violence in the family.

One of the children had been diagnosed with schizoaffective disorder, depression and is suicidal.

The father, later identified as Nicholas Antoine, was said to be armed with an AR-15, the alert said, and has made threats to harm social workers in the past.

The parents fled when a Superior Court judge ordered for the children to be handed over to Child Protective Services, according to the alert.

The alert said they were believed to be traveling in a tan 1992 Bounder motorhome with license plate BPP8654. Troopers pulled over the RV in Cheney after a local spotted it and called police.

The children were taken in an ambulance and are now in the custody of Child Protective Services.

Antoine spoke with 4 News Now after his release, during which he said he didn’t know a judge had ordered his kids to be removed, adding that he will get back custody once the court “figures things out.”
