All 250+ dogs rescued from Stevens Co. puppy mills now up for adoption

According to the Stevens County Sheriff’s Office Facebook page, the hundreds of dogs that were rescued from two illegal breeding operations in September have now all been taken in by rescue groups.

The dogs were found in filthy conditions. Many were sick, at least one was dead. Four people are under investigation in connection with the two puppy mills located in Nine Mile Falls and Ford.

If you’d like to adopt one, contact one of the following shelters:
Blue Mountain Humane Society is located in Walla Walla
Benton Franklin Humane Society is in Kennewick.
Pasado’s Safe Haven is on the west side of the state, in Monroe.

The Stevens County Sheriff’s Office would like to express gratitude for those who offered support and volunteered their time to facilitate the rescue of these animals.
