Air quality should improve later today – Mark

Our air quality alert is still in place, but conditions are expected to improve later today.

That improvement will be slow, however.

Some showers are possible with some cooler weather expected, as well.

Today will be very smoky and hazy with mild temperatures.

Air quality remains in the unhealthy range across the region, so avoid spending too much time outside.

Low 70s will be here to end the week and around 70 for the weekend.
