AAA: Average Washington Gas Price $3.38 A Gallon

BELLEVUE, Wash. (AP) — The AAA auto club says the average price of a gallon of gas in Washington is $3.38.

That’s up 33 cents in the past month and 86 cents from this date a year ago.

The price is approaching the state record high of $3.45 set in May of last year.

Around the state, the AAA survey found the average price is highest in Bellingham at $3.45 and lowest in Spokane at $3.27. The prices in the Seattle area is $3.40.

The national average is $3.16 a gallon.
