A little light rain is on the way for late Thursday, while a bigger system waits for the weekend. -Kris
Our string of sunny, spring-like days is slowly coming to an end as a much more active, wintery weather pattern takes over. Up first, a weak storm system will bring an increase in clouds on Thursday.
Light precipitation and breezy conditions will develop in the afternoon and continue into Friday morning. Spokane will most likely experience rain, possibly mixed with a little snow.
On Valentine’s day, we will get a nice break between storms. A stronger, wetter and windier system moves in over the weekend. This system promises heavy snow in the mountains, gusty winds on Saturday and a mix of rain and snow in the valleys.
