A gray Saturday followed by snow and COLD! – Kris

What we’re tracking

We are tracking areas of snow flurries and freezing fog for Saturday. More notably, we are also tracking an arctic front on the way for the second half of the weekend bringing cold and snow through next week.

4 Things To Know

Plan your Saturday

If you’ve had enough of the low clouds and freezing fog, you’re in luck.  We will see some changes in our weather pattern during the second half of the weekend. But in the meantime, expect areas of dense freezing fog Saturday morning with temperatures in the teens. The fog will leave icy patches on the roads, sidewalks and parking lots.  Keep that in mind as you head out for holiday errands and parties. In addition, snow flurries are a possibility.  Highs will top out in the lower to mid-20s, which is about 10 degrees below average.

Spokane and Coeur d’Alene forecast

Light snow is on the way for Sunday.  In general, expect 1 – 2″ of snow in the Spokane and Coeur d’Alene area through Monday morning. Additional rounds of snow are expected off and on through next week. It is also going to be even colder.  However, just how much snow and how cold it’s going to get are uncertain, but we’re working hard to dial in on the forecast.
