A calmer start to 2023 – Matt
What we’re tracking
Patchy fog and a few snow flurries are a possibility in the coming days, but are minor compared to the weather we’ve dealt with lately. The most likely areas for fog will be around Central Washington where we’ve been breaking out into clear or partly cloudy skies this weekend. Elsewhere expect cloudy skies and not a whole lot of changes in temperature.
Plan your New Year’s Day
It should be a typical January day around the Inland Northwest. Temperatures start in the 20s with some patchy fog or mostly cloudy skies. We get to the mid-3os and partly to mostly cloudy skies in the afternoon.
Spokane and Coeur d’Alene forecast
The weather remains on the quieter side for the first part of the week. Temperatures don’t change much except for a chilly start to Tuesday morning. Areas of fog and now flurries are a possibility each day.
Storm activity starts picking up Wednesday night which will bring us light snow on Thursday. Next weekend looks more active too. So far no major storms seem to be on the way in the near future, just minor wet/snowy conditions.
