24-year-old man killed in rollover crash in Chelan Co.
CHELAN CO., Wash. — A 24-year-old man was killed Tuesday when his car rolled down an embankement off State Route 20 in Chelan County.
Washington State Patrol Trooper Rider responded to the scene, which was about 33.5 miles west of Winthrop. Rider said the 1999 Jeep Cherokee left the roadway, rolled and came to rest on the passenger side. No other vehicles were involved in the crash.
The victim was identified as Michael J. Niegowski of Maple Falls. WSP said Niegowski was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash.
WSP said they are working to determine the cause of the crash.
