1 man dead in Sacred Heart parking garage crash

SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Police officers are investigating a fatal collision on S. Division and 7th Ave near Sacred Heart Hospital.

A Spokane Police official told KXLY4 that the victim was a man.

That man was driving eastbound on 7th when his Mazda struck the hospital’s parking garage. Witnesses say the Mazda accelerated before leaving the road. 

Division is closed between 6th and 7th Avenues while officers investigate.
